Clear Aligner Orthodontic Therapy

CLEARCORRECT TIMELINE

• Step 1: Consultation – If you are interested in our clear aligners for yourself or your teenager, please schedule an appointment at Cornerstone Dental Arts – Fort Sanders West. During this initial consultation, our dentist can examine your smile to determine whether ClearCorrect is the right option for you.
• Step 2: Impressions & Planning – If you and your dentist decide to move forward with ClearCorrect treatment, we will start by taking an impression of your bite. This model will be used to develop a personalized plan for your treatment. Afterwards, we will send your impressions along with the dentist’s impressions to a reliable ClearCorrect lab.
• Step 3: Aligner Creation—ClearCorrect will use your smile impressions and our dentist’s treatment plan to create your custom-fitted aligners. This process typically takes a few weeks.
• Step 4: Wearing The Aligners – Once you receive your clear aligners, it will be time to begin your treatment. To achieve the best results, you will need to wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day, removing them only when cleaning your teeth, eating, or drinking. You will switch to a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks. Our dentists will schedule regular checkups at our office to monitor your progress.
• Step 5: Great Results – The majority of patients achieve their desired smile within 18 months or less, although individual cases may vary. By wearing your aligners as directed, your teeth will eventually be perfectly aligned. This will boost your confidence and enhance your dental health, enabling you to go through life with a beautiful smile.
